  Scalable Machine Learning, Deep Learning Systems, High-Performance Networking and Custom Computing
  Dr. Arel directs the Machine Intelligence Lab which focuses on the development of practical machine learning technologies that can be applied to a broad range of system. In particular, reinforcement learning algorithms and deep machine learning architectures are investigated, with an emphasis on quantitative studies of performance and scalability.
